As I havesaid before, there are many ways to understand the bible.
（美国-清辞Ｗei：如我以前说过的，可以有很多种理解圣经的方式。）
There aremany Jews and Christians who only read the Bible on a very literal level.
（美国-清辞Ｗei：很多犹太人和基督徒只看字面上的意思。）
FuFeng 扶风：跟佛教的现象一样。
Donna Gordon：They are told by their leaders that toread on other levels is against their religion. Why do you think this is?
（美国-清辞Ｗei：他们的领导人告诉他们从别的层面上理解圣经是违背他们的信仰的。大家认为这是为什么？）
FuFeng 扶风：开悟太难。
Donna Gordon：Yes, Fu Feng, enlightenment is difficult.（是的，扶风，开悟太难。）
FuFeng 扶风：也太高大尚。开不了的就自以为是的以自己的理解去解释。
宁波-应奇：为了统治，为了愚民。
风行草间：To control thethoughts of the followers? 控制其他人的思想？
Donna Gordon：Yes, it is a way to control the people ifyou can control their minds.
（美国-清辞Ｗei：控制了人们的思想就控制了他们。）
Why do youthink this is?（你为什么这样想？）
In thisclass, I want us to go very deep in our understanding of the Bible.
（在这个课程里，我希望大家能深入的了解圣经。）
So far inour understanding of Chapter 1, we discovered that God created the world as aplace of vast possibilities and now in the end of verse 2, God brings thisworld to life with his breath.
（美国-清辞Ｗei：在第一章里，我们看到了上帝创造世界是为了建造一个有非常大的可能性的地方。在第二句结尾，上帝通过它的气（炁）让这个世界活起来。）
This is avery deep understanding of the first 2 verses.
（美国-清辞Ｗe：上面是前两句的深层意思。）
How was the light created?
光是如何创造出来的？
Donna Gordon：Let's move onto verse 3.
（美国-清辞Ｗei：我们看第三句。）
Verse 3says: God said, "Let there belight." and there was light.
（美国-清辞Ｗei：神说：“要有光”，就有了光。）
Verse 4: Godsaw that the light was good, and God divided the light from the darkness.
（美国-清辞Ｗei：第四句，神看光是好的，就把光从黑暗中分离出来了。）
So, I askyou all, how was the light created?
（美国-清辞Ｗei：我问大家，光是如何创造出来的。）
风行草间：by word. 上帝的话语？
Donna Gordon：Yes, he commanded the light and createdwith the energy of speech.
（美国-清辞Ｗei：神创造了光，用他的言语的能量。）
FuFeng 扶风：炁
Cj：The sun? 太阳？
Donna Gordon：What does this teach us about the powerof words?
（美国-清辞Ｗei：关于语言的力量，这告诉了我们什么呢？）
宁波-应奇：The light is createdby God, the light is made of conscience光是上帝创造的，即光是本心造的。
Cj：道。
Donna Gordon：Our words are a form of energy. All of uscreate many things in our lives just by speaking each day.
（美国-清辞Ｗei：我们的语言是一种能量。我们所有人只用语言就在生活中创造了很多的东西。）
We have thepower with our thoughts and words to create our own world each day.
（美国-清辞Ｗei：我们用自己的语言和思想在创造我们每一天的世界。）
FuFeng 扶风：光，在道家的修行中，当精气神纯一时，显现于人的神经，为淡淡的光感。
宁波-应奇：净色根。
Donna Gordon：If we want to create a good world aroundus each day, we need to think good thoughts and say good things to others.
（美国-清辞Ｗei：如果我们希望自己的世界是好的，就需要想好的念头，对别人说好的话。）
FuFeng 扶风：圣经里有这么说吗？
Donna Gordon：God tells us this right in the beginningof the Bible that we can create our own world with just our speech.
（美国-清辞Ｗei：神在圣经一开始就告诉我们，我们可以只用语言就创造出我们的世界。）
FuFeng 扶风：佛教把这里叫：唯识，万法唯识。只用语言就创造出自己的世界？
Donna Gordon：What brings our speech to life?
（美国-清辞Ｗei：是什么把我们的语言变成活生生的世界呢？）
FuFeng 扶风：思维，想法。
上海--陈福美：Mind brings ourspeech to life 思维想法。
Donna Gordon：Qi and consciousness bring our speech andour world to life.
（美国-清辞Ｗei：是炁和我们的觉知把我们的语言和世界变得生活。）
I believethat the light that God creates with his speech is the light of consciousness.The ultimate enlightenment that is at the heart of our connection to God.
（美国-清辞Ｗei：我认为神用语言创造的光就是觉知之光。它也是我们和神连接的核心，是最终的开悟／觉悟。）
FuFeng 扶风：Donna老师的word 与 life，这里如何区分，能否把life理解成“具象”显现。
（美国-清辞Ｗei：Donna, can you explain what you mean by the words"Word" and "Life"?）
Donna Gordon：The word for life in Hebrew is Cha-yim.
（美国-清辞Ｗei：Life 一词在希伯来文里是Cha-yim。）
Cj：太初有道 (“In the beginning there is the Word”：这是基督教《约翰福音》的第一章第一句。英文的word是话语的意思，1919年译成中文并为华人基督教会广泛沿用至今的《圣经和合本》将Word译成“道”，有研究分析，这是参考了老子的《道德经》。不知Donna的word是不是这个意思。
Donna Gordon：Cj, that is the beginning of the NewTestament, not the Old Testament, but what I think you are saying is that otherancient books tell us also that words create our world.
Donna Gordon：
Word is ourspeech，
words createour world every day.
words helpto create our actions.
（美国-清辞Ｗei：Word是我们的语言，Word创造了我们每天的世界。Word辅助创造了我们的行动。）
美国-清辞Ｗei：Fufeng was wonderingif "bring to life" here means to make something appear.
Donna Gordon：Yes. Bring to life means to makesomething appear or come into our life.
（是的，Bring to life的意思是让一些事物出现或进入我们的生活中。）
Our speechis very powerful. It is sometimes more powerful than the sword.
（美国-清辞Ｗei：我们的语言很有力量，有时比刀剑更有力。）
We can buildother people up with our words, or we can cut them down with our words.
（美国-清辞Ｗei：我们能用语言让他人变高大，也可以用语言把他砍下去。）
FuFeng 扶风：原来读圣经，没有读到过这层意思呢。
星落刀——冷尝：我们可以用语言摧毁他人，甚至杀死。
Donna Gordon：At the end of Verse 4 we see that Goddivides the light from the darkness. This almost seems like God has justcreated the Yin and Yang balance of the earth.
（美国-清辞Ｗei：第四句的最后说，神把光暗分离开了。就像是神创造了地球上的阴阳平衡。）
FuFeng 扶风：不明白为什么有光了，上帝就要把暗与它分开。那不是上帝造了个恶出来吗？
（广州-李菱Li Ling：Just now fufeng asked why did God separate the light anddarkness ? ）
Donna Gordon：Good question.
风行草间：@扶风，是不是这样理解：上帝从混沌中创造了光，光明与黑暗的对峙才彰显出来?
FuFeng 扶风：在第四天里，上帝专门分开了光与暗。并在第五天里，把光叫昼，把暗叫夜。我读到这里，感觉这分辩，是上帝给起的。
对不起，这些都是在第一天的。
Stupid笨，蜗牛4：又看不见为什么要有光？
Donna Gordon：In a literal sense, it says that Godcalls the light Day and the darkness Night. I believe that in the deeper sense God is distinguishing between Yang(light, Day) and Yin (Darkness, Night). God is creating balance in theuniverse.
（广州-李菱Li Ling：字面上是说上帝把光称作“白天”，把黑暗称作“夜晚”。但在深层上，是区分了阳（光，白天）和阴（黑暗，夜晚）。上帝是在创造平衡。）
FuFeng 扶风：Donna把这理解成阴与阳，这很好，明白了，继续上课。
（广州-李菱Li Ling：Donna,pls. continue. They think that that you associate thiswith Yin and Yang is impressive.）
Cj：原来都是黑浑，上帝不是带来了光吗？
FuFeng 扶风：不仅是光与暗，是如道德经第二章的相待有。
Cj：嗯。我也觉得阴阳很棒。
风行草间：Why not to createa world full of light? 为什么不创造一个完美的世界呢？
Donna Gordon：There would not be balance in the worldif everything was one way.
（广州-李菱Li Ling：如果所有的事物都只有一面，世界就没有平衡了。）
张洁 Jessica 5号：既然要创造阴阳平衡，那当初不分开不是也很好吗？浑然一体，更平衡呀。
Stupid笨，蜗牛4：道德经是本来就有的，这里却是神造的。神造了一个相待有的世界给谁呢？
Donna Gordon：Before we move on to the end of ourchapter where man is created, let's look at the end of verse 5.
（广州-李菱Li Ling：我们现在先看看第五句，之后会讲本章最后人类诞生的部分。）
Stupid笨，蜗牛4：伊甸园不平衡？
张洁 Jessica 5号：如果不分出光，那也就不存在面呀，混沌一体，没有面吧。
FuFeng 扶风：平衡是丰富，张洁这样想是用低维去强压全维呢。
星落刀——冷尝：阴阳有动态的平衡才有自我创造的契机。
One day

Donna Gordon：At the end of verse 5 it says: there wasevening, and there was morning, one day.
（广州-李菱Li Ling：第五句说：有晚上，有早晨，这是头一日。）
Cj：Yin and Yang again? 也是阴阳？
Donna Gordon：Everything is Yin and Yang, Yes?
（广州-李菱Li Ling：一切都是阴和阳，是吗？）
Because aday is described with Evening first, Jews believe that days begin with sundown.
（广州-李菱Li Ling：因为一天是由夜晚开始的，犹太人相信一日是从太阳下山开始的。）
Cj：wonderful.
Donna Gordon：So after Qi, Enlightenment and Yin andYang are created and come into being, the rest of the physical world as we knowit can come into being as well.
（广州-李菱Li Ling：所以在炁，开悟、阴、阳都诞生了之后，物理世界剩下的部分就诞生了。）
FuFeng 扶风：一天的开始从日落开始算起？很新奇的。先休息，再干活？
Stupid笨，蜗牛4：休养生息。

Donna Gordon：Fish, insects, vegetation, stars, moon,animals. all are created.
（广州-李菱Li Ling：鱼、昆虫、植物、星辰、月亮、动物一切都诞生了。）
Let's get tothe good stuff, when Man and Woman are created.
（广州-李菱Li Ling：接着就是男人和女人。）
Cj：先是简单动物和植物。
广州-李菱Li Ling：Donna,why do Jews think that a day begins with the sunset?
（Donna，为什么犹太人认为一天的是从日落开始的？）
Donna Gordon：The bible says at the end of verse 5,"There was evening, there was morning. One day"
（在圣经第五句最后有说“一天先有夜晚，再有早晨”。）
It does notsay there morning and then there was evening, it says the opposite.
（它不是说的先有早晨然后再有夜晚，它说的是相反的。）
Why does itnot put the morning first?（为什么不把早晨放在前面呢？）
广州-李菱Li Ling：Ithink most of us are curious about that: why does it not put the morning first?
（我想我们大部分人都好奇：为什么不把早晨放在前面？）
Donna Gordon：That is a good question and only aquestion that can be answered by the original writers of the Bible.
（广州-李菱Li Ling：而至于为什么写作者要把夜晚放在前，则不得而知了。）
The originalwriters of the Bible were Jews and this is how they probably had determined howtheir day was made up.
（广州-李菱Li Ling：但是这就决定了犹太人如何定义一天的开始。）
So when Jewscelebrate holidays, it will begin on sundown on the first day and end atsundown on the day after.
（广州-李菱Li Ling：所以每当犹太人庆祝节日的时候，都是在节日当天的傍晚一直持续到第二天傍晚。）

风行草间：So God is not onlya consciousness but also do has the image like a human being?所以上帝不仅仅是像我们原来所讨论的只是一种意识，而且是的确有类似于人的形象？

The question about human being created
关于人类被创造的问题
Donna Gordon：Verse 26: God said, "Let us make manin our image, in the image of God he created him, male and female he createdthem.
（广州-李菱Li Ling：第26句：上帝说，我们按照我们的形象造人吧。上帝按照自己的形象造人，造男造女。）
The questionin Verse 26 about man being created is not how God is like man, but How are wemade in the Image of God?
（广州-李菱Li Ling：第26句关于人类诞生的问题，不是上帝有多像人类，而是人类是如何按照上帝形象被创造。）
I believethat we are made with the same energy as God.
（广州-李菱Li Ling：我相信上帝用了自己一样的能量创造了人。）
How many ofyou believe that God is a man with a long white beard who sits up in the cloudsand throws lightening bolts at us?
（广州-李菱Li Ling：我们当中有多少人相信上帝是个有长胡子端坐在云端给我们放闪电的形象呢？ ）
God does notlook like us on the outside. God does not look like a man in our physical form.
（广州-李菱Li Ling：其实上帝在外形上和我们不相像。上帝不会像一个人类在外形上。）
We look likeGod in our basic most elemental level.
（广州-李菱Li Ling：我们在最本质的层面上与上帝是一致的。）
Ourenergetic soul and consciousness are what resembles God.
（广州-李菱Li Ling：我们精力充沛的灵魂与觉知与上帝是相似的。）
风行草间：but the word imageseems a little misleading. 但image有点容易引起误解。
Donna Gordon：The word Tsel in Hebrew means a picture,an image, or a shadow.
（广州-李菱Li Ling：Tsel在希伯来语中指的是一幅画面，一个意象，或是一个影子。）
宁波-应奇：人及所有生物是“上帝”的化身Man and all creatures are "God"incarnate.
Donna Gordon：Yes, we are all incarnate, meaning we areliving a physical life right now.
（广州-李菱Li Ling：是的，我们都是化身，指的是我们就是实实在在存在的生命。）
The Biblesays we are made in "HIS IMAGE".
（广州-李菱Li Ling：圣经说，我们是以“他的形象”创造的。）
meaningGod's image.
（广州-李菱Li Ling：意思是上帝的形象。）
Clearly, wecan see from our physical bodies, that we do not look like God, right?
（广州-李菱Li Ling：很显然，我们的身体与上帝并不相似，对吗？）
FuFeng 扶风：上帝在一切处。
Donna Gordon：So if we don't look like God on aphysical level, then on what other level can we be made in the image of God?
（广州-李菱Li Ling：那么，在外形这个层面我们与上帝不同，那在什么层面我们会与他相通呢？）
I propose tosay that if we look at our true selves on an energetic soul consciousnesslevel, this is where we see that we are made of the same substance as God.
（广州-李菱Li Ling：我认为，是在灵魂与觉知的层面，我们与上帝是相通的。在这个层面，我们和上帝是同样的“物质”。）

We are notjust communicating with God, Li Ling, we are as God like as God. We are allGod.

Donna Gordon：Everyone here in this world is like God.We are all connected to each other through our connection to the Creative forceof the universe!

Quantumphysics says that all matter in this universe is made of light particles, Yes?
Photons,correct?

Mattercannot be made or destroyed. Einstein said this, Yes?

Einsteinalso said that matter as we know it does not exist.

Donna Gordon：Our bodies are all made up of lightparticles that are all vibrating at a lower vibrational frequency, Yes?
（我们的身体都是由振动的光量子在较低的振动频率中组成的，是吗？）

Donna Gordon：That is fine. We will explore this moreat our next class on Monday before we read about Adam and Eve.
